Although is MA, I just change the head into MA head/ "Callidus Kai"
Now MA mode, Look like Bird (Chicken) / the gaia gundam I build b4. ^^;

This C.Chaos gundam (Chaos Gundam custom) combine from HG Chaos gundam & FG Calamity gundam.
The C for C.Chaos, I think the answer being reveal already, which is "Calamity" Chaos. lol bt it also can be read as C2. lol
Color data: This time most color are hand painting expect the dark violet which is the result of spray paint.
The spray paint I use is Anchor, color code name : Dark Violet.
In the first picture, I already know something is not right.... those 2 extra tall cannons... by the time I see the side profile, I guessed it's Calamity. Actually I didn't notice in your previous picture because of dark background from Sinanju.
ReplyDeleteFirst time used putty? Which part? I didn't notice it. So green was hand-painted? I didn't know such bright colour exist for bottle paint. Seems like flourescent green.
That.... doesn't look like Figma stand... is it a Tamashii Stage Act stand?
Those white spikes? Are they seperated parts? If not, that's some awesome colour seperation from just hand-painting.
Wow, for a HG, the leg can really split for the 'Centaur Chaos'.
In the 4koma, is it Raider and Gaia in those small circles?

Not actually a putty, just something similar to it. I fill the hold at leg and the shoulder, guess hard to see. The green is poster color "Yellow Green" + gloss spray paint.

Lol, Chaos leg can bend in weird way in MA mode, bt still not as good as HG 00 which can do "1 horse" pose.

Aha! So you did bought a Tamashii stand, from HK I presume? I always wanted these stands because they can hold larger figures than Figma but HK ones are bootleg?
lol Those who own Robot Damashii won't necessarily know the stand because it won't be included most of the time, like me, I got 4 RD, but still no stand included. They have to be bought seperately usually.
The red inside the cannons are a good contrast against the green and black. But the dragoon does make you wonder.... why Strike Freedom's dragoons can be so compact, and Chaos' are so big but only use a small firing hole. Actually Chaos' make sense since it needs the fuel to fly around, and that makes SF dragoon impossible.
Also it's kinda strange for Chaos dragoon to have missiles inside, just like Blast impulse launcher, shoot laser one end, and missile the other end.
Maybe it just hard to c in picture, the most obvious part is the "brown" color between the shoulder and weapon pod.

Guess Lacus mechanics more advance than Zaft, since Destiny/Strike Freedom is make after the Chaos/ZGMF series.

For fake Gunpla, I worry about the quality because plastic is different and joints may be loose. But for bootleg stands, I won't care as much as long as they work. So how does it feel? Are the joints strong? Of course, the fake Gunpla stands also use screw so joint strength may not be a problem.
ReplyDeleteFigma is from Max Factory, where every figure has a hole at the back to fit the stand. That's why a stand is always included for Figma. It's part of the concept.
But Tamashii stand holds the figure like grabbing. Knowing Bandai, they don't include stands for every MG too right? There's only a few RDs which includes a stand, like Wing Zero Custom and Destiny. I'm not too sure for 00Q and Strike Freedom whether it's first production only. And RD Aile Strike comes with a fixed stand.
Is Lacus a mechanic? lol
From MAHQ, it seems Lacus stole Strike Freedom from ZAFT, who plans to mass-produce Freedom. Actually, Chaos, Destiny and Strike Freedom all are from ZGMF series, only that ZAFT developed the nuclear reactor for the new units. It seems Chaos is designed for use by normal pilots, no wonder the dragoons are a bit old fashioned.
