Strike Freedom

Strike Freedom Body and Head

Strike Freedom Head

My first time to do the "battle damage" coating, will it a little bit overdo?X3
Enjoy it.

  1. Well, the body seems too shiny for "battle damage". You really like the sparkling paint? XD

As for the head....yeah, you overdid it. I remember Kawaguchi-sensei said, when you do weathering, always remember to know what kind of damage you want to give it. Beam saber? Rifle? Or caused by debris in space?

And also it's a head part, does the head really get so much damage compared to other parts of the body? Hard to reach spaces (not exposed to surroundings parts) will also not get that much damage.

On another note, I was right. It's a Strike Freedom!

  2. well, u can say that, I left glossy paint.

Hmm... Ic, I totally forget leh,,,
For Head, ya, I put too much leh, =.=

Well, normally head just 1 shot (head shot!) and "boom" or beam saber "Cha", head gone... (Except Exia, only right side get hit)

  3. And also, another thing to look out for is the weathering on the feet. For Zaku type J, there'll be dirt and rust on the feet part, but for Strike Freedom who flies most of the time, there's less damage there.

Strike Freedom is so good at dodging, even better than Freedom, so it's weird to see it damaged. I think in the show, Strike Freedom doesn't get even get hit once.

So, I was right, right? This is MG Strike Freedom. But is it really your Full Burst mode? You're willing to do weathering on such an expensive kit?

  8. Uh, huh...but you still can try on HG that is not painted. But what is done is done already. You are using pencil, right? Maybe can rub off some so that the weathering is not too excessive? XD
